Pros

I cannot actually list 5 words that are "Pros". Maybe the pros are once you are in a position to leave it teaches you about how workers are exploited and the imbalance of the fair treatment of the working class vs white collar. Also another pro is understanding that most corporations core values are to try and get the most profit while paying their workers as little as possible.. within a Neo liberal free market consumer capitalist system The RealReal is treating workings just as poorly as they should.

Cons

Once I left I realized how terrible it was and needed time for both emotional and psychical recovery. This job violates so many labor laws. This job has mandatory overtime ( 9 hours a day every at the last week of the month), working 6 consecutive days at the end of the month, no holidays off, quotas changing without pay compensation, exploitation of workers without college degrees, wage slavery, manipulation of employees from HR and management

Pros

Pay and commission can be good, but the structure is unnecessarily convoluted and not as generous as it seems, and you will have no work/life balance if you want to actually make consistently high commission. If you have a true passion for luxury and fashion, you do get a lot of opportunities to handle and interact with special/rare items, and depending on store location you can meet a lot of interesting industry people and celebrities, especially during Fashion Weeks

Cons

Poor and unsupportive management with extremely unrealistic demands and expectations; you will get virtually no training, but are immediately expected to know how to do everything. The overall company culture is just unpleasant and very cliquey, and there's constant employee turnover. The online customer service system is terrible, so you will frequently have to handle customer issues that have nothing to do with you/your sales.
