Pros
1. higher salary ($60,000 base) than most fashion roles if you really want to be in the fashion world 2. "growing" fashion company 3. job security 4. takes employee health seriously 5. Diversity 6. Benefits are pretty good 7. work life balance if you are willing to not hit quota
Cons
1. Very hard to hit quota to get any commission - the base is minimal especially in SF with all of the taxes 2. Heavy lifting - I am a college athlete and this role feels like I am working at a moving company 3. Consignors treat me like a cleaning lady 4. Does not know how to scale properly / very unorganized internal structure -- This is their #1 fault and the reason people leave because of burn out, and why consignors are so angry because the communication during consignment process is unorganized 5. Always hiring because the time one person stays in the role is very short 6. I don't enjoy the in-home experience - it does not feel like i am in a corporate role 7. No internal growth opportunities/ career opportnities so if you are passionate about just this role then take it but if you are looking to grow internally and in your career then definitely look elsewhere 8. if you want a work life balance AND want to hit your quota / commission it wont happen
