Pros

The business is growing very fast, which is fun to be part of. You can literally see the growth as thousands of items come in and go out the door every day. Something is really working and I feel that the company will be very successful. Employee experience has improved a lot over the past year. There’s now free food pretty much every day, healthcare plan is good, we have a 401K plan (with company matching!). There’s lots of great, smart, friendly people. Many teams work well together, and at this point there is almost no internal politics.

Cons

The environment is very fast paced and unrelenting, which can put pressure on work-life balance. And the company has made more than a few bad hires, who end up causing damage to the business and culture. As the company has grown and become more well-know, this is getting better. There are some managers who are inexperienced and are struggling, which is understandable in a company with so many young people, but this should be made more of a priority.

Pros

Pay and commission can be good, but the structure is unnecessarily convoluted and not as generous as it seems, and you will have no work/life balance if you want to actually make consistently high commission. If you have a true passion for luxury and fashion, you do get a lot of opportunities to handle and interact with special/rare items, and depending on store location you can meet a lot of interesting industry people and celebrities, especially during Fashion Weeks

Cons

Poor and unsupportive management with extremely unrealistic demands and expectations; you will get virtually no training, but are immediately expected to know how to do everything. The overall company culture is just unpleasant and very cliquey, and there's constant employee turnover. The online customer service system is terrible, so you will frequently have to handle customer issues that have nothing to do with you/your sales.
