Pros

It pays the bills and fills the resume

Cons

The company talks a big game (remote work, flexibility, supportive leadership) but the reality is far from it. Onboarding is minimal, and expectations are often unclear from day one. Communication is messy, often siloed, and sometimes completely contradicts itself. It’s hard to feel set up for success. Roles change frequently without warning, and you're often given work you're not trained for. There's no real support, and asking for help usually leads to “just Google it.” Proactive feedback is rare, and when it does happen, it’s usually reactive instead of helpful, or documented privately without context or follow-up. Hard work often goes unnoticed and will often be deleted or ignored without feedback, which makes it easy to feel burned out and unmotivated. Leadership (particularly within the HR team) fosters a culture of distrust. At the end of the day, you’re not treated like a person with goals and potential, just a replaceable part. The environment is mentally exhausting and unsustainable. If you value professional growth, basic respect, or your mental health, think twice before joining.

Pros

Pay and commission can be good, but the structure is unnecessarily convoluted and not as generous as it seems, and you will have no work/life balance if you want to actually make consistently high commission. If you have a true passion for luxury and fashion, you do get a lot of opportunities to handle and interact with special/rare items, and depending on store location you can meet a lot of interesting industry people and celebrities, especially during Fashion Weeks

Cons

Poor and unsupportive management with extremely unrealistic demands and expectations; you will get virtually no training, but are immediately expected to know how to do everything. The overall company culture is just unpleasant and very cliquey, and there's constant employee turnover. The online customer service system is terrible, so you will frequently have to handle customer issues that have nothing to do with you/your sales.
