Pros

I used to love it. Coworkers are creative, smart and caring, especially Guild members and Posties who have been here 3+ years. Work-life balance has been excellent in the WP Creative Group. Project-based work that doesn't exhaust my energy. The mission used to be strong.

Cons

Leadership is an absolute mess and morale is at an all-time low. All the good leaders have exited one by one, and senior leadership and HR seem to be run exclusively by people who are smug, self-serving and unwilling to explain any rationale for their actions. Regular employees are fleeing the company. Business is stagnating on the advertising side and we're all twiddling our thumbs. No direction or bold ideas on how to win back subscribers. Return to office mandate is an obvious ploy for voluntary attrition. Leadership seems like it may be gearing up for a big sale or purchase, but is willing to shed its most talented people. I feel so awful for the people who have worked here for decades.

Pros

Hard working colleagues, at times.

Cons

I found a lot of people I worked with were just racking up sinecures they felt they had earned. Lots of laziness.
