Pros

Human resources is well organized - very effective with lay-offs...

Cons

TR is just another investment vehicle supporting the top 5% and higher is the management chain. Thousands of people are laid off, but I suppose that Mr. Jeff Smith and team haven't missed any meals recently. What a shame. I am a great supporter of capitalism and the free-market society, but I do recognize the term "Predatory Capitalism", and I believe that TR falls under that description. Somehow, someone was able to justify putting thousands of people out of work just to make sure the share-holders were happy. What a dismal demonstration. The management at TR is apparently not creative, inventive or has any demonstrable problem solving skills. Their skills start and end at viewing a spreadsheet, looking at percentages and getting rid of staff if personal bonuses are at risk – genius… Good look with all of that…

Cons

Not great 401k or health insurance options for contractors, but that's par for the course

Pros

Plenty of wonderful benefits and the most competitive parental leave I have found in the US job market

Cons

Depending on the organization you work within, you could be working for leadership that expects sales reps to smooth over and fix every single mistake that is made. A lot of these mistakes are because they haven't yet recovered from acquiring new companies and they haven't absorbed CRMs and data correctly. There are many different teams to work with to get the simplest projects done. It feels like the companies values are really in place because they expect the employees to take responsibility for their lack of systems in place supporting them.
