Pros

Generally good people - real emphasis on "being global" and building the company brand. Decent work life balance. Strong technology architects and a commitment to new development

Cons

Sr management - those at the top are truly clueless. Head of HR for the company is living in the 90s using outdated methodologies that every company had abandoned even Microsoft. The head of legal came from Reuters, is British and hates the majority of the work force which is in Minnesota. Wants management to be in NYC while they cut costs and outsource work to Asia. Makes no sense but she is merely a figure head until the next figure head comes in who also will know nothing about our customers or the business of law. They are outsourcing all lower level jobs like real estate, desk top support and facilitates - it is dumbing down the work force so nothing gets done because no one knows anything.

Pros

Good pay, good managers, and minimal micromanagement

Cons

Not great 401k or health insurance options for contractors, but that's par for the course

Pros

Plenty of wonderful benefits and the most competitive parental leave I have found in the US job market

Cons

Depending on the organization you work within, you could be working for leadership that expects sales reps to smooth over and fix every single mistake that is made. A lot of these mistakes are because they haven't yet recovered from acquiring new companies and they haven't absorbed CRMs and data correctly. There are many different teams to work with to get the simplest projects done. It feels like the companies values are really in place because they expect the employees to take responsibility for their lack of systems in place supporting them.
