They had decent pay and an okay success story, and that's where it ends.

They sold me on their "Culture," the "Year over year Success," and their great "Comp plan," but that couldn't have been further from the truth. From the start, the comp plan has many hidden things that will cause you to never have a chance to hit the "OTE" they said is typical. They also didn't know who they were as a company, and how to promote their product. They asked for their sales team to constantly go through "Training," because apparently the reason their sales isn't actually selling, if due to lack of training. Not long after starting, they created a "Winning Formula" that would guarantee the success of their sales team. After that failed, and other attempts failed, they decided individual successes and sales tactics weren't the way the to go, and created an almost army like mentality where everyone does everything the same, because individualism must be the reason sales isn't selling. Had they actually taken advice from their sales team, and listened, maybe we would have had more successes. The real reason we weren't winning deals is because they are over priced, and don't really have anymore value than the competition. Management ultimately knows this, but the uppers do not want to hear it because we are special in the space, and we're worth paying more for. And don't bother trying to convince the management of your efforts, they come to their own conclusions and will dictate who's making efforts and who's not, even if you blowing out fo the water all the marks they laid out in the comp plan, especially in prospecting and actually selling their product. Find another company to work for, them going through most of their sales team time and time again is consistent and will keep happening.
