Pros

An incredible, historical brand with amazing pieces. Great opportunity for networking and gaining luxury experiences. Pay is good for management. Benefits are also quite extensive,

Cons

Working for Tiffany does not feel like a luxury experience at all. Stores are severely understaffed, there is very little support beyond management for onboarding talent. Managers & directors are overworked and are expected to micromanage their team. I was told because I am a salaried employee I need to be responsive on email/Teams at all times even when on PTO. Upper management has very little visibility into what is going on in stores. Customers are unhappy with servicing pricing and turn around time. I would expect this lack of organization from a small startup, not a large, established luxury brand yet here we are. Employees are fed up and dropping like flies and then the backfill is not onboarded or prepped, therefore making clients upset with their experiences. The events.. don't even get me started. They start off by inviting VIP clients only to then have it be a mad dash and anybody and their mother can be invited. Information is shared so incredibly last minute and they are always a huge mess with no organization.

Pros

Great benefits and discounts. Beautiful product. Tools and resources are easy to use and locate.

Cons

After being acquired by LVMH, the company has turned to a primarily KPI-focused approach to training and coaching employees. They no longer offer in-depth training for new hires or continued learning for current employees. Major focus is placed in selling high jewelry and commission rates are low compared to other Maisons.
