Pros
It's really fun day-to-day with lots of problems to solve and you'll learn a ton. If you get a good manager (I did) that makes ALL the difference! I really love all the people I work with and genuinely look forward to seeing them every day. I think hard work gets recognized.
Cons
The offices in Seattle are terrible. Really drab, terrible decorations and you definitely don't feel like you're working for TikTok. Yes they cater lunch but 9 times out of 10 the food is so bad. They sometimes do "events" for employees but it's just more sub-par food that runs out immediately. There aren't enough desks for everyone and you're constantly having to fight for your space which is annoying day-to-day. There is NO benefit for transportation (they sell that pretty hard with recruiting) it's just an option to take out pre-taxed dollars to use for commuting but you 100% pay all your commuting costs. Also, everyone just hires their friends and 85% of the employees are from Amazon so if you come from somewhere else you're already behind.
