Pros

Qualified coworkers, great team on board. Software systems are being updated from the ancient programs we’ve been using. Unique architecture, some of the most well designed plans I’ve seen throughout my career in home building.

Cons

I believe Toll Brothers is an amazing company depending on which division you work for. I have had the opportunity to travel to multiple divisions, and some are operated so differently than others. You could have an amazing career in one state, and dread going to work in another. In our division, many members of the staff are overworked (especially construction staff), underpaid, & frustrated. Build times are 3-5 mo longer than any other competitors, and division leadership seems disorganized. There is a halt on land acquisition, even though the sales team consistently performs. Customer dissatisfaction is constant, and it seems as though our division is always putting out fires/finding quick fixes, rather than adjusting to find a solution before they arise. I was so eager to work for Toll Brothers, and over time I have slowly become discouraged based on the decisions I’ve seen be implemented, and the overall lack of customer satisfaction.

Pros

Toll Brothers provides excellent training, strong systems, and the opportunity to work with a respected luxury homebuilder. The company emphasizes professionalism, customer experience, and sales development. I gained valuable experience in new home sales, lead management, and working alongside talented sales and construction teams.

Cons

Like many positions in homebuilding, success can be highly dependent on market conditions, inventory availability, and community assignment. Weekend work is expected, and balancing customer needs with operational processes can sometimes be challenging.
