Pros

The only good thing about tolmar are the benefits, like paid birthday off.

Cons

Little to no training -> Absolutely no training matrix to follow, just fly by the seat of your pants Very volatile work environment Much like being in a middle school and gossip is taken as true no matter what Supervisors and managers discriminate and play favorites Nothing is done to change the discrimination even if you report it Too many chiefs HR does not care about employees, they will help the managers retaliate against you when you report discrimination I actually have a lawyer and am getting ready to sue this company because I have more than enough evidence to win. Including managers admitting on audio recording that they discriminated against me, then retaliated against me with a completely fabricated write up when I asked them to stop.

Tolmar Response

We are sorry to hear that you feel that any actions have occurred that are discriminatory in nature. Tolmar takes a strong stance against any type of discrimination in the workplace, and accordingly, we have a well-communicated process to report anything of concern. All reports of potentially discriminatory behavior are investigated immediately and thoroughly. Unfortunately, if this behavior has not been reported, we are unable to address it directly. It appears that you are a current employee, so we encourage you to utilize the process that is available to you in order to elevate your concern to HR or any member of management so that it can be investigated. We are also in the process of continually improving our training methods and processes in all departments and implementing technical and procedural advancements on a regular basis. We welcome any direct and specific feedback that you have regarding your individual experience and challenges with our training program in order to incorporate it into our ongoing training development efforts. Finally, all corrective actions are fully substantiated and vetted prior to being delivered. As mentioned above, if you feel that you are being held accountable for something that did not occur, please provide specifics so that we can better understand the discrepancy. We value all of our employees and place the ultimate importance on fairness and consistency. We encourage direct feedback and are confident in our abilities to investigate and respond appropriately, but are unable to do so without specifics. We would appreciate the opportunity to hear more about this situation so that we can move forward with resolution.

Pros

Many opportunities for advancement and on-the-job learning. Benefits are fantastic with a 9% total 401K match, great health insurance with an employer HSA match, education assistance, and more. People are really wonderful, and management cares about employee well-being. The company is growing and has been moving in positive directions in my time there. Change is slow, but there are always changes in progress, so it feels like something new is happening all the time. I love my job and my team is incredible. I recommend Tolmar to anyone who asks me about it.

Cons

Production and workflows can be a little disorganized, with last-minute changes. The pay is competitive for Colorado, but low compared to bigger pharma hubs for a lot of positions. Company development is slow (as is true much of the time in pharma). Some positions are repetitive and labor-intensive, and have high turnover that makes work challenging for people that stay on.

Pros

Career devlopment is a huge plus with this company. There is a lot of opportunities to learn new things and develop skills that will serve you well in the pharma spaceq Pay and benefits are also pretty solid.

Cons

Management was inexperienced and consistently difficult to work with within all departments. Good management is a rarity in this company. Manufacturing scheduling and processes were all over the place and often delayed. All essential departments were consistently under staffed and turnover was high. The expectations around work output were unrealistic and exhausting. Everything is urgent and high priority, and they expect you to compensate for poor scheduling and poor retention rates.
