Pros
I have learned more about myself not just because of how being in sales forces you to develop, but because of the principles that Tom James teaches. You're not a cog in the sales wheel, but an individual and they focus on developing YOU to your fullest potential which in turn causes you to sell well. I have become a better husband, son, brother and friend based on what I've learned w/ this company.
Cons
Not to be cliche but there's none really. I mean obviously you have to work hard, and you'll only get out of it what you put in. It's not overnight success it takes time. But if you can't handle that and if you don't like putting in the time, the work, the hours, then you shouldn't be in sales or business in general. Most negatives I come across are from people who just expect things to be handed to them and don't take accountability for their lives. The hours can definitely be long at times but that's also a skill that needs to be developed. Time management, efficiency, etc. There's very high producing people in this company who are gone by 5:30 every day, but that might not happen immediately for you. So if you don't like that, this might not be for you.
