Pros
-Get some cold-calling training -Overcome fears, approach strangers to sell clothing on the street -Trips are incentivizing
Cons
-Outdated management tactics- "hard sell" and "low ball" offers. The people are so brainwashed it feels like you're in a zombie movie. Everyone just repeats company slogans out loud and over and over to the point where it's creepy. NOBODY makes money in their first 3 years. The "numbers" the company reports are false; attrition is huge and turnover is expected and "worked into the numbers" by management. Also, the products are NOT to the standard promoted! So often I would get not what I ordered and be charged on my "non conformance" on it. The company makes you buy $3000 worth of clothing when you start and deducts it from your pay-check. Worst of all, the managers lie to you and to each other. It's "dog eat dog" and people want to see you fired so that they can take your clients. You are always watching your back.
