Pros
You become really close with coworkers who also want to leave because you commiserate together. Nothing brings people together like a common problem or hardship.
Cons
-Working weekends -Creepy bosses -Low to absolutely no pay -Really rough work schedule... I’m talking 70-90 hour weeks -Clothing allowance is absolute crap - The company will make up something for you to owe them money for if you leave -As a female I was asked multiple times to meet with men who only wanted to be around me because I was “cute” and apparently that’s a really great way to get a contact for business -You have to “drink the cool aid” if you don’t want to be shunned -You basically never have a day off -My boss called me at 9/10/ and once 11 at night - You have to be gone on New Years and the Fourth of July every year for company meetings and it’s MANDATORY. Unless you are having a child (which is the only way I saw people getting to stay home) -Obsessive employee’s.... one of my coworkers was tracked down at her house because they thought she might not be sick so they went to her house to make sure she was actually there and wasn’t lying about her location.
