Pros
Love the facilities. It's great to work outdoors in the sunshine. You get access to all the free golf you want. The guests are usually pretty laid back. It's a decent summer job.. You can make money when it's busy.
Cons
Long hours. Demanding work. Stay hydrated or you WILL pass out. Tip out percentages are through the roof. The job was not what the management team that hired me made it out to be. I was told repeatedly that there were opportunities to grow within the company and I was promised a promotion but never got it. Management didn't have a reason or constructive criticism when I asked as to why I wasn't being promoted. If you need a manager at a table expect to wait 20 mins. Working here is a lot like high school. Everything is a popularity contest. Doesn't matter how hard you work. This location was very low volume. Very slow on weekdays. Not consistent money at all. Cuts are rarely made! Everyone gets in at the same time and everyone leaves at the same time regardless of how busy the facility is. I have worked nine hours and walked out with $10. Don't ask to be cut or the managers will keep you on longer and cut someone else.
