Pros

Very supportive team. As long as you work hard you get noticed. Busy most days, makes the time go by fast. Room for growth. Management is good in my area.

Cons

Starting vacation is 2 weeks PTO after first full year. Then 3 weeks after your 5th year. Finally 4 weeks after 15 years. I’d like to see 3/4/5, that would be more fair. Also every warehouse has different customers. So there is no set procedures across the board.

Pros

The coworkers I worked with, were easy to get along with. Any time there was a spill of any kind, everyone came together, quickly, to lend a hand in the clean-up.

Cons

Management is invasive, and disrespectful. You WILL be monitored for performance, via security camera's that were not purchased for that purpose. And yet, raises and promotions will still be based on favoritism, ageism, and sexism. Most of this is ileagal. But, you will notice right away. Also, beware of the no fault attendance pollicy. Personal experience, I did the company a favor, by switching shifts constantly over a period of time. I incurred points, not because I was late. Because my different shift times were not correctly entered into the system by management. I lost out on promotions, even though my work was documented, and superior, because of my age and favoritism. If you are not in your 20's, you will likely not even be considered for hire, regardless of your experience. If you are female, do not even bother unless you want to type on a keyboard all day. To be fair, I will mention that I was fired for points. However, my points recorded by management, did not even match what HR had on file. To make matters worse, for the 3 months in which my points spiked significantly, the time clock was actually an ipad glued to the wall, with a faulty Kronos system that frequently would not allow you to clock in or out. Also, you will frequently be forced to work mandatory overtime, with almost no prior notice. You will find out, when you arrive to work, and it is posted in the breakroom, often, the very same day. Management knows in advance. These loads arrive at port cities, and travel all the way to Akron, Ohio. They have to schedule appointments ahead of time. And yet, you will still often only find out on the day you arrive to work, that you will need to stay over 2 or 4 hours. Also, you will be handling hazordous chemicals of all types, with pay that barely competes with Amazon. Examples include, poisons such as Hydrochloric acid, and inhalation hazards such as pulvarized silica, so fine, that it literally floats in the air. It is so fine, in fact, that normal dust masks are of no use. I gave this company a decade of my life, and lost a promotion to someone that did not follow required procedures, accomplished half of the work I did everyday, and very literally talked on the phone almost the entire shift, everyday, to his girlfriend via a hands free headset. If you still feel like applying, I would suggest 3rd shift. You will be expected to preform at your best everyday, but, at least you will be respected for it. 2nd shift crew, is also a good team. However, they only load trucks, and loading trucks for this company, requires nothing short of perfection. Anything not perfect, you will have to explain. It's not worth the stress, but that is just my opinion. Good luck.
