Pros

Working at TQL as a Group Sales Manager has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Every day, I get to lead a talented team of sales professionals who are passionate, competitive, and driven to succeed. The company culture here is unmatched—we thrive on collaboration, celebrate wins big and small, and push each other to grow both personally and professionally. What I appreciate most is TQL’s commitment to its people. The leadership invests heavily in training, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities. I’ve been able to develop junior sales reps into top-performing brokers, which has been incredibly fulfilling. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing someone you’ve coached hit their goals and gain confidence. The pace is fast, the work is challenging, and expectations are high—but that’s exactly what makes this environment so motivating. If you’re someone who’s competitive, loves solving problems, and wants to be part of a winning team, TQL is the place to be.

Cons

This high-effort, high-impact culture isn't for everyone. But the rewards are numerous if you have what it takes to thrive as a competitor.

Pros

TQL gives me the opportunity to feel like an entrepreneur while still having the support and resources of a large company. I run my own book of business, build customer relationships, and have direct control over my success. The company's core values and principles align closely with my own, so it often feels no different than running my own business. The leadership team is another major strength. From management to executive leadership, there is a genuine desire to see employees succeed. As long as you're willing to put in the effort, stay coachable, and maintain a positive attitude, you'll find plenty of support, training, and guidance to help you grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

At the end of the day, TQL is a sales organization, and success requires a strong work ethic, resilience, and a willingness to go above and beyond for customers. The expectations are high, and the role can be demanding at times. However, if you're looking for a career in sales, that's the nature of the industry. For the right person, the challenge is more of an opportunity than a drawback. Those who are competitive, coachable, and willing to put in the effort can build a very rewarding career here.

Pros

Money, Reward, Work-ethic, Culture, Friends This job is like farming. Every day you come in early, sow the seeds, water the grounds, and care for the farm until the sun sets. Then you wake up and do it again. You don't entirely control whether the crops grow - you're dependent on the sun and environment. However, you do control whether the crops die - if you refuse to water and to wake up early to nurture it. If you can sharpen your work ethic to optimize your work inputs (calls, conversations, leads, education, preparation), then you can make a reasonable bet that you will reap abundance just like the farmer makes the same bet. This was my chance to replace 3 jobs and finally have the opportunity to be paid according to my work ethic. And it is just that - it's not a job, not job security, it's not perfect, but it's an opportunity to change your life and make a lot of money and to be paid according to your work ethic. I've never seen more money than I have while working here. There are certainly some struggles, difficulties, and challenges, but it's nothing different than you'd find in other intense, high-reward, high-risk sales jobs.

Cons

Stress, Goals, Work Life Balance
