Pros

So, let me first start by saying, I wanted to do this because, I just graduated and I came to this website to find out answers about this company but, couldn't really find a answer because, the reviews are all over the place. This is my experience, I have been here at tql about a month, and WOW. The first thing you can tell about the company vibe, is that it is very energetic, and competitive. If you are not a competitive company DO NOT come to tql, its not for the faint of heart. As a broker, you are basically a middle man, and get loads from anywhere, and sell them to different company's. The floor is very hectic, and you have to be on your game all the time. I compare it to being a stock broker because, you control the margins, and you can take a lost. But, the money is there to be made, the most successful people in the company, come in early, and stay late, and work at home but, those people also are making over 100k. But, if you decide you just want to work the minimum, you can make 60k. This is a job of who is going to work the hardest. Another cool thing is there are satellite offices all over the country, and since its a isr role, you can work from any of those satellite offices. overall a cool place just don't expect to skate by, you will be working hard as soon as you walk in the door.

Cons

You are expected to work hard If you can't take rejection don't do it You have to work every other Saturday The pay is ok for the first couple months Tip: go to a state with no state taxes :) Takes most likely 8 months to really get up and going

Pros

Frat House environment if that's what you're into.

Cons

Where do I even start.... My first week there the sales manager, whose account I was supposed to look over and be trained by, was gone for the whole week. The desk spot they put me at was next to this JBL party box, making it virtually impossible to communicate over the phone. When you're in the training phase you literally do all the work for the account manager, then you're expected to make cold calls to people that want no part in TQL. When you do get someone on the phone and make a sale, you wont be seeing any of that money. They have a commission draw set up where you have to be making a certain amount of revenue before you can make commission- thus leaving you to the measly 43k salary. These recruiters and managers SELL you a false dream, the turnover rate there is astronomical for a reason. They will hire anyone that'll learn the system, use them for labor for 6 months, cut them when they don't meet the ridiculous KPI metrics. To be actually successful here you either have to work near 60+ hours a week for YEARS waking at 4am to "snipe" accounts that have been released due to inactivity, or be handed an account by a retiring SR level manager. RUN from this company!
