Pros

It has a fun teamwork environment. People are super laid back and understands how stressful this job is, which allows everyone to bond together. There are also beer drops- meaning you get a beer or two 1/4 fridays of the month, sometimes they pay for a happy hour.

Cons

Oh where do I begin...When you start at TQL you are assigned to someone for 6 months to being their personal assistant. Many times, if unlucky you will be assigned to an awful person to work under. In my instance, he did not allow restroom breaks, or made people other than just me sit down when it was busy. Got upset if anyone went across the street for 10 mins to pick up lunch. The keyword here is MICROMANAGEMENT! during work you are watched closely and if you don't have your headset on, you will be yelled at. You are forced to stay past 515 for days made for prospecting ( 2 times a week you are forced to be here until 630-7pm). What is ridiculous is that they take attendance like they would in high school, then sends it to the boss. If your numbers are low, they review your attendance and tell you that that's the reason why you aren't succeeding, and could face possible termination. When requesting time off- 50% of the time they are not approved. At this company you work around 50 hours a week. They also make you work "after hours" which is known as 16-20 unpaid hours where you come in at 645 am or stay until 7 pm on certain days until you fulfill your 16-20 hours that THEY assign to you. You have to take calls after or before work hours on your cell phone and constantly worried about work and things that cannot be prevented. Obviously you see why the cons are much much greater than the pros, there are a lot more cons but would take me too long to write- this company isn't worth my time, but I just wanted the public to know about how awful this place is. Yes there are successful people here- they were handed clients and also pulled one nighters in the office- which is quite comical because this is not college but should be a professional work environment. To sum it up, this workplace should change their name to "First World Sweatshop"

Pros

Money, Reward, Work-ethic, Culture, Friends This job is like farming. Every day you come in early, sow the seeds, water the grounds, and care for the farm until the sun sets. Then you wake up and do it again. You don't entirely control whether the crops grow - you're dependent on the sun and environment. However, you do control whether the crops die - if you refuse to water and to wake up early to nurture it. If you can sharpen your work ethic to optimize your work inputs (calls, conversations, leads, education, preparation), then you can make a reasonable bet that you will reap abundance just like the farmer makes the same bet. This was my chance to replace 3 jobs and finally have the opportunity to be paid according to my work ethic. And it is just that - it's not a job, not job security, it's not perfect, but it's an opportunity to change your life and make a lot of money and to be paid according to your work ethic. I've never seen more money than I have while working here. There are certainly some struggles, difficulties, and challenges, but it's nothing different than you'd find in other intense, high-reward, high-risk sales jobs.

Cons

Stress, Goals, Work Life Balance
