Pros

Young work environment, initial look seems fun and laid back with bags set up and ping pong. The top 10% sales reps make very good money. Work with fun people.

Cons

Yes they have games set up and have happy hours and beer drops in the office. Yes they paint a picture of unlimited earning potential but here are some of the facts: - People go into sales for the money and flexibility. Here you are unlikely to see the money and you will not get ANY flexibility. - Top 10% of reps make great money, but there are 2,000 sales reps so 1,800 reps do not make enough to make the job worth it. Half your time prospecting you will be fighting with your fellow employees and getting in prospecting arguments. - Unethical treatment of carriers, will try and scam any way possible. They will also try and do this with their customers they teach when a customer is desperate that's when you take advantage of them. - Employees are just a number. There is a reason the turn over is 90%. - You are considered "successful" when you make 50k...you can make more working less hours somewhere else - Do the math....you have an 90% chance you will quit or get fired in the first year. IF you make it through the first year you have probably a slim to none chance of becoming "successful"...the odds are not in your favor. These numbers are openly discussed, when you hear them actually THINK about them and do the math...I wish I would have. - Expected to be in the office before 6am, if you log in a few minutes late you will get written up - Do not expect to take a couple of days off in your first 1-2 years. Want to visit out of town family over Christmas? To bad, gotta hit the phones and make your 100 dials a day - They like to use fun pump up words "hustle" "juice" "grit" "grind" "pound the phones" but what they really mean is "beat your head against a desk, call people who do not want to talk to you till your blue in the face and make us money...if you don't we will just fire you"

Pros

Money, Reward, Work-ethic, Culture, Friends This job is like farming. Every day you come in early, sow the seeds, water the grounds, and care for the farm until the sun sets. Then you wake up and do it again. You don't entirely control whether the crops grow - you're dependent on the sun and environment. However, you do control whether the crops die - if you refuse to water and to wake up early to nurture it. If you can sharpen your work ethic to optimize your work inputs (calls, conversations, leads, education, preparation), then you can make a reasonable bet that you will reap abundance just like the farmer makes the same bet. This was my chance to replace 3 jobs and finally have the opportunity to be paid according to my work ethic. And it is just that - it's not a job, not job security, it's not perfect, but it's an opportunity to change your life and make a lot of money and to be paid according to your work ethic. I've never seen more money than I have while working here. There are certainly some struggles, difficulties, and challenges, but it's nothing different than you'd find in other intense, high-reward, high-risk sales jobs.

Cons

Stress, Goals, Work Life Balance
