Pros
This job was a learning experience. The training program lasts anywhere from 10 months to a year so having a good manager and regional supervisor is important. While in this position I was taught by doing, on the first day I completed hiring paperwork and the very next day began working with the customers and answering phones. I believe that this is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to get their foot in the door of sales and management.
Cons
The work environment can be very stressful. Many days I was expected to work well past open hours. Due to the nature of the business my training manager would ask me to stay till 8pm to finish up work and training and I was expected to stay until she left. They company also expected me to come in on Saturdays to work with no consideration of my schedule, they wanted me to schedule around them. The way the company is organized, they mislead recruits to think their obligations to the company will be much less than what is really expected.
