Pros

The only pro I can think of are the discounts you can get with other companies because your a TRU employee.

Cons

Little to no training before you're expected to train someone else. You're literally told nothing and find out as it happens. And when you attempt to do tasks that will help with your knowledge of the store/products you're told you're not allowed. But once you're supposed to clock out they must likely make you stay to do what you wanted to do earlier. Hostile work environment. Most people are very nice but others will talk behind your back. The managers/supervisors will not take responsibility for anything. So if your relief does not show up, expect to be told you have to stay until they do. Half the time you won't get a response over the walkies if you need help.

Pros

Best job ever, I was able to play with toys all the time. I usually stayed late to open boxes, and play, then I put them back in boxes like nothing happened and then go home, my wife always thought I was cheating because I was late, sometimes 3AM, but I just can't stop playing with toys, it was awesome.

Cons

My wife didn't like my job. She hated when I was late.
