Pros

I'm pretty much blinded by the blatant inconsideration and unprofesionalism of upper management. So at this point I have very little to say, but I'll try.... some of the other employees are nice and they do offer a decent benefits package (of which I, personally, have no need for).

Cons

There is no follow through or folow up on anything. 35 hours a week- that's a joke. I work minimum of 40 hours and am told that I need to work on my days off (note the "told" and not "asked") then am made to feel badly when I go over 40 hours. I haven't been able to leave on time since I started. (about 2 months ago) I was told each day would be the same. Yeah right... I haven't had any consistancy to my responsibilities or tasks. My boss has been nice enough to point out that I'm not needed- the store would be just fine if I didn't work there at all. Wow, way to boost morale! He also likes to call my direct reports on his day off to have them give me my daily tasks and also share how he feels about me personally. I've walked in the breakroom while he's gossiping about me to employees that report to me. To make things really fun, a long-term p/t employee was just written up because upper management doesn't want her there anymore.

Pros

Best job ever, I was able to play with toys all the time. I usually stayed late to open boxes, and play, then I put them back in boxes like nothing happened and then go home, my wife always thought I was cheating because I was late, sometimes 3AM, but I just can't stop playing with toys, it was awesome.

Cons

My wife didn't like my job. She hated when I was late.
