Pros
Great benefits. Planning to have a baby? This company will take care of you. Their motto: "Work hard. Play hard." is very true. They celebrate a lot and often. And they like to take days off from working at the office. Call Center has to stay, though, for customer call-ins. BUT you get paid OT for staying when the rest of the building empties out. Flexible with hours. Confidence is key to anyone's success at a company so immersed in old thought patterns.
Cons
It's very much an old white man's club if you look at workplace environment. I think they know that and they're trying to make it diverse. Some of the people who have worked there forever don't like that at all. If you know how to work your magic on people so set in their throwback ways then you're in luck. Also, the customers constantly complained about the products sold at TSC. Everyday there were complaints about the warranties, products, and services that just weren't up to par to what they were advertising. All of it was misleading. TSC is really just a big powerhouse company that became so from taking advantage of customers by way of overpricing their cheaply made products. Oh, and work hours were horrible--HORRIBLE. Different times worked just about every day and every week.
