Pros

Great customers, interesting job, stock purchase plan and usually good co-workers.

Cons

Echo other seasoned employee sentiments. Been at TSC over 3 years, working my way up from part time to full time receiver, and am probably going to leave soon. In a brand new store, great customer response to opening, busy as can be...but two openers, (receiver and TL) until 11:00 or so is terrible idea. Can't get my job done for working the floor, doing recovery that should have been done at closing, then having to leave 3 days a week at 1:30. My job is suffering and customer service is going down the tank.

Pros

Great benefits, pay is manageable. The store bonuses are incredible. If you are a store manager anything lower it’s not any significance to a paycheck.

Cons

Long hours there is no work life balance. Depending on who your district manager is a lot of them are very unethical. When you do not follow what they say they will find a reason to fire you. The company itself was great, but it’s the people they hire.
