Pros
- The overall culture, while not perfect, is getting better all the time and teams are more communicative and forward-thinking than ever. - this is cheesy, but we're building products and working with companies in a way that I personally believe actually helps people. Workplaces can and SHOULD be better after taking our courses or working with our company, even if just in little ways. - 401k match is great - PTO/sick leave allowance is strong from Day 1 and only gets stronger as you're with the company longer - Leadership listens to employees and, while they may not always arrive at the same conclusions or have the same expectations, there's a genuine culture of valuing what we all have to say or contribute.
Cons
I'll come right out and say that there are reviews being posted that *feel* like they're from disgruntled former employees/managers/colleagues who have been let go in recent months and since the acquisitions occurred. Things haven't been even close to 100% smooth across those acquisitions; three companies and their staffs and product offerings were (surprisingly to most of us) merged together without a lot of warning ahead of time, and there definitely were growing pains, redundancies, changes in process, etc. - those growing pains impacted the culture and likely burned some people out, but personally I think we came out the other side better for it. That said, it did take time to get to the other side. There are definitely issues presenting themselves with product timelines, decreased team sizes, and the need to run a leaner ship in order to best serve customers while ensuring costs don't balloon out of control - so this isn't the place for anyone who is looking for a 20 hour work week where they respond to a few emails and log off. Teams have high expectations for their employees, and there are instances where the work can feel overwhelming, but that is improving as time goes on. Remote workforce can sometimes feel like you're never fully disconnected from work, but team leads make strong efforts to try to mitigate that/push you to log off.
