Transamerica offers the ability to be paid well in a fairly relaxed environment.

Cons

There is a serious lack of ongoing training and upside potential working at this company. If you are a career minded person that wants to be with one company and have the opportunity to move up or laterally across the company, this is not the place for you.

People have to see a need to sit down and talk with you, which can sometimes be discouraging.

Pros

It all depends on the are you work in the company, but you can get a really supportive manager.

Cons

1. They give you a job description and then add responsibilities without pay. Especially when it comes to phones. Been in 2 departments and they both promised minimal phone calls in the positions and then continued to force the teams to take overflow calls. 2. They don’t reign in the micromanagers.
