Pros

Transcom allowed me to grow as a supervisor and a manager and allowed me to learn from workshops and meetings. Works with time off and emergency days Extremely lenient.... (too lenient?)

Cons

This company does not appreciate it's employees passed the agent role. Of course, the agents are the "life blood" of the company, however even they are under appreciated a majority of the time. The company will do RARE events where they buy food and small prizes for it's employees but only if there are client visitors, they do this to show off the "comradery" of the environment. As stated above, the company is TOO lenient when it comes to giving agents days off. The maximum excused days are 13, however agents will get away with up for 50-70 days within a few month period and still be employed. Some supervisors are great, however they are not fully supported by HR and Management, which makes it difficult for them to enforce regulations. Supervisors are continually "spit on" by agents. This is due to them trying to enforce a regulation, only for a manager to say "oh that's ok let it go this ("1") time", making the supervisor look incredibly unreliable. Upper management only values themselves. They will talk about ideas to improve employee morale, but the ideas soon fade after they continually treat themselves to expensive dinners, catering to potential clients and using the company card to fuel their own needs. The management team corners themselves in a huge intimidating room that is very un-inviting. "Open-door" policy is used very loosely and if you're able to catch a manager, you are told to schedule a time.... 90% of the time the managers will not be around during your scheduled time. They do not give raises to any employee. According to HR management, they have never seen a company that "gives yearly raises for performance and tenure". Which is clearly innacurate, as I have worked for companies that did. Transcom only promotes agents to supervisors, however anything passed that pay grade will be a hire from outside of the company. In my 4 years there, we went through countless Business Managers, HR Managers, Client coordinators and site directors, all hired from the outside. You will never earn more than $14/hr here unless you already know someone in upper management that can get you in at a high pay grade. If they decide to promote a supervisor, it will be a "lateral move". Basically means same pay but 3-4 times more work and responsibility. It is ok just to learn something new, but this is another tactic they do to make you feel under appreciated. The training is terrible. They let agents come in and out and do not properly prepare them for the floor. Agents are learning bad habits in training and then the supervisors have to take responsibility for those habits once the agent reaches the floor. And of course, this goes back to the managers. They will show little to no support when it comes to enforcing rules that the agent SHOULD have known already. I can go on and on about more, however I will leave it at that. Do not work here unless you like being bullied, micro-managed and have very little personal integrity.

Pros

Working from home and not having to sit in Atlanta traffic

Cons

This place is a dumpster fire. The leadership is nothing more than a bunch of hens who are always arguing with each other and have more drama than a soap opera. The company does not care about their employees, they put in a front but all they care about is billable hours to Apple.
