Pros
-Great discount -Lots of company holidays -Lower level employees are awesome and great to work with -Cool product & marketing -True ownership over your own projects and daily tasks -Company is always trying to make positive changes, it just takes longer than it should
Cons
-Exec teams seems unclear with where they want to take the company with conflicting thoughts on who the customer is, what the brand stands for, and how to successfully build upon the current loyal customer base -Exec team lacks trust in employees, even when employees are able to offer more knowledgeable insights/learnings from prior external experience that leadership does not have, this has led to intense micromanagement from leadership team -Company has not invested in systems/platforms/processes at an early stage that allows for efficient and effective management of the business as it grows, trying to add these later is much more difficult & leadership team has tried to solve this by adding more and more middle management roles that leads to more pressure on individual contributors -Managers are more often than not unqualified for their role ( a lot of favoritism) and nothing is done to correct this on the backend like additional training or learning plans -Communication is a huge issue across the company, especially when it comes to the Executive team actively listening to employees -Diversity & inclusion programs seem performative rather than implemented for genuine positive change
