Good discount, free apparel, discount on Callaway golf items.

Cons

Retail sales plans are unreachable. With increased KPIs across the board, my store team has made a monthly commission 1 time in past 7 months. This year targets are continuing to be unreachable based on business trend. Due to this, morale in the retail field is at an all time low for any employees that have been with the company longer than a year. Any conversation about how to improve morale falls on deaf ears with our district leaders. Merit pay increases that normally come in February have not happened at all this year for the retail dept, but corporate received their raises still. In my district of 9 stores, only 1 store manager received their yearly bonus. Career path for store managers is very limited. All 6 district managers are external hires and can’t relate to their stores. They haven’t promoted a retail manager to a corporate role in 2 years. Store manager turnover is also very high due to these reasons. In the SM summit only 3 managers remained from 2 years ago. Company sales are on a decline this year and the executive team doesn’t know how to react.

Pros

The company has gone through transitioning from a smaller business to a larger business, focused on people, quality of work/life and navigated through new strategy well which makes me optimistic about the future. Communication is really strong, as strong as i have seen it with a focus on transparency. Also hybrid work environment is a big perk.

Cons

Smaller pay increases, lower budgets focused on bottom line profits may limit growth

Pros

You get free clothing allotment

Cons

Corporate leadership took away the budget for team building and small snacks. During peak times they have contest to win snacks instead of just doing nice things for the stores. They play favorites instead of rewarding results.
