After a few months the job was just not very rewarding. You honestly just "hang out" with kids. This was fun at first, just doing puzzles or watching movies. However, it eventually just became very boring and unrewarding.
Trellis Services Response

While we are glad you found the work rewarding, we are surprised by the description of easy. We most often hear "challenging" (in the positive sense of the word). Individualizing care for each child and adjusting as they gain skills means always adapting and being responsive. It also requires ongoing support and training to gain more skills as you grow as a technician (and beyond). We are sorry that wasn't your experience. We hope you found a position that suits your needs.
lots of gossip, stuck with bcbas who are bullies and management will do nothing about it as they just want to prioritize bcbas who have been there for a long time, high turn over rate in technicians, nothing is every clean, hours aren't guaranteed unlike their competitors, favoritism runs high
