Pros

If you don't want to spend all your time on the road, this company has the advantage your looking for. I actually understand this practice and it works for several guys who are reservists.

Cons

Slip-seat OTR trucks: mattresses are never changed out (bedbugs are problem here) When you want ANY home time you must clear out the truck so they can plant someone else's butt in the seat as a means to keep the truck generating revenue. Don't be fooled: the driver is not #1 here. THE TRUCK IS! Don't even try to go near your home with a company truck. You'll get a call within 30 minutes if you do. 45 minutes of PC. Company all but shuts down between Christmas and New Years because it relies 100% on the automotive industry for loads The "Sign-on" and Safety bonus are one in the same: You must drive accident-free 3000 miles/week (12000 miles/month) to get that month's award of $500. I was truly told that there are drivers still working on there sign-on bonus more than 2 years into the company because they don't routinely get 12k miles each month. As for management, I have yet to meet my home terminal manager 4 months into my employment and don't ever think you will meet the Main office management in STL because all the doors are locked 24/7.

Pros

TNI makes you feel at-home. The comrade among everyone within our department and the relationship between departments is something I’ve never been able to see with a company before. TNI offers flexibility.

Cons

TNI does not offer HSA.

Pros

They offered great home time. Joe L. Was one of the best persons to work with.

Cons

Started forced dispatch and super short loads. Other drivers are rude and inconsiderate. Slip seat is just unacceptable, unsanitary and once got a truck full of bed bugs. I was accused of damaging a truck and they put it on my DAC report as an accident. They will get rid of you with a drop of a hat.
