Cons
The employer misrepresented this job summary, by failing to disclose that the employee would be responsible for a minimum of four--and as many as six--direct patient care assignments, in addition to the other duties and responsibilities contained in the summary. The employer acted in bad faith to cajole a recent new hire into relocating from hundreds of miles away, to the greater Nashville area, knowing in advance that the hire had no recent experience in bedside patient care. Yet, the employer expects the employee to return their relocation bonus, after they resigned in frustration due to the overwhelming responsibilities expected of them. The employer also failed to disclose that the position qualifications included ACLS certification, apparently to conceal the true responsibilities of the job. Employer should have been aware at time of interview, that the hire had only BLS certification, and failed to mention that ACLS would be required.
