Pros

Flexible schedules. As long as you're hitting minimum standards, no one is monitoring your actual hours. There were weeks I only worked 3 days and still hit goals. Coworkers are wonderful people who will give freely of their time to help each other. Feel great about helping people AND the environment

Cons

Making real money requires a LOT of canvasing (door-to-door) even in some pretty bad weather. Paid on install so if installs are delayed, so is your pay check Trinity will NOT pay you for outstanding commissions if you leave the company. This really feels like a scam from a company claiming to stand for "Energy with Integrity". Turnover is pretty high and this really feels like Trinity is taking advantage of this by keeping tens of thousands of commission dollars. Management is not collaborative. They pretend to be open and friendly, but do NOT accept any criticism (constructive or otherwise). District Manager does all the heavy lifting when it comes to admin tasks and gets overwhelmed. Assistant DM is greedily focused on setting sales records and barely contributes to leadership duties. Rather than discipline the ADM, the District Manager will instead delegate ADM responsibilities to senior sales staff, but Trinity will not financially compensate these team members. DM and ADM are best friends from high school and don't like to hear bad things about each other so if you have problems you are forced to elevate your concerns to the regional managers who generally do nothing. Calling HR goes nowhere.

Pros

Amazing people, culture, and team. Pay and benefits are just as great. 10/10 workforce with kind and fair coworkers and bosses. Get paid for talking to people if you're good with knocking on doors.

Cons

If you're an introvert, you're going to struggle with the 'meeting new people' aspect.

Creating a workplace where employees feel supported, respected, and valued is something we work hard to achieve. It’s also great to know that you’ve had a positive experience with our pay, benefits, and leadership. We also appreciate your honest perspective about the role. Building relationships and meeting new people is a big part of the job, and we understand that it can be more challenging for some than others. Pros

There used to be more positive to working here but under the new CEO they have taken everything away from their long standing employees.

Cons

One of the biggest issues is pay. Employees who have been here for years who know the job inside and out are often making the same as (or less than) brand new hires who are just coming in with little to no experience. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
