Pros
Compensation was decent for General Labor. Days were as short or as long as you wanted them to be; Management only said something if you were consistently putting in more or less than 40 hours a week.
Cons
Near the beginning of winter, when outdoor jobs were finishing, guys who had been promised a position over the winter were let go with only a days notice.
