Pros
Many of the people who work at CUNA are dedicated and care about their work. Folks work hard and want to do a good job. Many positions look to hire internally, so there's good progression throughout the organization.
Cons
Corporate culture permeates middle management. You need a manager who will protect you and most will, but the few that are bad are really bad but good at concealing it. Good managers will see encourage an employee to ask questions, bad ones will shut questions down as being averse to change. I've had both - good managers make working at CUNA great, bad managers cause people to leave in droves.
