Pros

Work/life balance, brand new facility, some good people in management, very good benefit package (minus salary), very involved with local charities in the areas they are located

Cons

Overworks employees and sets them up to fail, laying off many employees with established, successful careers and industry credentials. Many front-line managers play favorites and micromanage to the point of suffocating productivity in a vicious cycle. Salary for retirement plan professionals is at least 10-15k below national average, even for a small mid-western town. Many "career" tracks are dead ends unless someone in the position above you leaves. Once we were bought out by CMG, we just turned into a cog in the machine and never felt valued - just something that affected their bottom line.

High turnover on the DigComms team Annual/quarterly onsite requirement Management oversteps boundaries and gets way too familiar Forced "family" environment and performance reviews take a hit if you don't overly engage outside of work-related conversation
