Pros

Tutor Dr. seeks to match students and tutors based off teaching styles, personality, and other various components. Building up a roster of students you match with can take a few weeks, but once you have one, most students will continue with tutoring for at least a year. Managers are willing to work with you if you feel you are not being paid enough for specific student/reason.

Cons

Depending on your location v. the students, there can be a lot of driving involved. They only pay once a month; it would have been more convenient for me personally to have bi-weekly pay.

Pros

Not having to find clients. Setting my own schedule. Having access to non-local clients.

Cons

Rearranging schedules for clients when life get is the way. Having to fill hours in with a working adult sometimes will cause a headache. Also, working outside your area can be technologically tricky on the websites backend SO make sure that the local managers know the procedure,
