Pros

You get to talk to other students and transfer your knowledge to them. It is great to see how they improve week by week. You might learn or refresh your overall knowledge.

Cons

Low salary, need to adapt your schedule to the students', and drive up and down.

Thanks for submitting your feedback! It's wonderful to hear that you enjoy working with Tutor Doctor. The local Tutor Doctor office takes care of all of the ground work of sourcing students, managing clients, and the admin work associated with tutoring. This is reflected in the pay structure. We recommend speaking with your local office about online tutoring opportunities that eliminate the need to travel to students' homes.

Pros

Not having to find clients. Setting my own schedule. Having access to non-local clients.

Cons

Rearranging schedules for clients when life get is the way. Having to fill hours in with a working adult sometimes will cause a headache. Also, working outside your area can be technologically tricky on the websites backend SO make sure that the local managers know the procedure,
