Pros
You get to set your own hours and have a real sense of autonomy. In addition, my boss is very supportive and always has my back, whether it be providing course materials to aid my sessions with the clients or speaking with parents who have any issues.
Cons
Cost of transportation is taken upon the employee and we are hired as contractors. The work varies hugely on demand and specific factors such as: which semester is it, what courses you are able to teach, etc.
