Pros
Best group of talented employees I have worked with in a career over 40 years total. Very little internal competitive edginess among the staff. They are willing to share all their best tricks of the trade. This is very unusual in my experience. This is not quite the case with upper management. Phone support staff is awesome group and so are many of the coding programmers I worked with.
Cons
Although the executive level management is very smart, there remains some very old fashioned tactics that I recall from the retail business in the 1950s. Why has not management learned something about human motivation since then? Fear and retribution are very old and ineffective tactics unless you want to stand over someone all the time. Still a lot of good old boy network operating in-spite of the efforts in human resources.
