Pros
-Remote work, trusted to get the job done -Stock price keeps rising, corporation is extremely successful -Variety of teams to interact with, and with that a variety of opinions and viewpoints to encounter -Occasional benefits such as free meals and game tickets if you're on the corporate team -Office in Yarmouth is world class if you want to work there during the pandemic
Cons
-All teams are understaffed and overwhelmed by the workload. Middle and upper managers seem oblivious of this or show no sympathy. Teams have to do more with less. -Pay is well below industry average. Yearly raises and bonuses are capped and below cost of living standard, creating zero incentive for employees to go above and beyond. -Lack of documentation and process across all areas, outdated or tedious procedures. Create your own documentation or struggle to figure it out on your own. -Contrary to other reviews on here, I did not find there to be a quality worklife balance. Managers and other team members were often expected to work after hours and on weekends due to deadlines not being met. -Corporate politics everywhere -- play the game or risk alienation -Your experience here will depend entirely on your team. With this being such a massive corporate enterprise in the business of acquiring other companies to expand, your team leader or manager will define your experience in whatever tiny sector you occupy -Opportunities for advancement or transfer are generally limited unless you're prepared to stay for many years.
