Pros
Being able to work from home is nice and during the summer you get a lot of hours.
Cons
There's too many to name but I'll name to big ones: -No one cares. Seriously. No one cares about customers, no one cares about helping, managers won't even respond to you most of the time. -99% of the calls that come in are people complaining and you feel sorry for most of them because the majority of complaint calls, are customers that have been messed over by the scheduling system. So about 99% of the company's problems could be solved if they just tried to be somewhat organized. Oh and no matter how hard you try to help a customer, managers don't care. They'll just tell you "tell them to call back tomorrow" or "they'll have to wait for someone else to call". -No one will take responsibility for ANYTHING. -Training is horrible. They teach you the bare minimum and then send you out on phones and say that managers will be available via instant messenger if you need help. The first month, you don't know any answers to customer questions so you reach out to the managers (like they told you to) and half the time they don't respond to you. -Other reps will just hang up on people or transfer them to you as a default which really makes the customers mad. -Dealer locations don't care about the company and bad mouth it all the time or tell customer's to take off or will even yell at you. They ALWAYS overcharge customers too. -Pay is super low and you'll get scheduled 11 hour shifts during the summer with a 30 min lunch break and a 15.
