Some Opportunity, if you look hard enough. - Operations Manager U.S. Bank Employee Review

Pros

Opportunities to advance are there. You have to go find them. They tend to hire outside even though there are many qualified internally due to internal friction. The people are good to work with. They usually just want to keep a spot filled, there is no focus on your career or advancement and training. Good things are it's more stable than other industries and other local companies. There will always be banks.

Cons

Pay and benefits could be better. People that don't pull their weight seem to get away with it and get the same raise that the hard workers get.

Pros

Laid back production work in an office setting. Great management.

Cons

Steep learning curve for the machines. Can be frustrating as machinery only works for about a minute before you have to make adjustments.

Pros

The pay is market average, and the benefits are quite good. I love my peers. The vast majority of them are kind and talented people. I truly enjoyed my first several years with the company. Well past the honeymoon period for a new employer. And at the time, I recommended this place to anyone I knew looking for a job.

Cons

Management is a mess from the bottom up. The culture of the company has drastically changed over the last several years because of frequent retirements, layoffs, and reorganizations. Employees I know from across describe the same experience: the company has gone from outstanding culture to one that feels openly hostile to its employees. Management decisions are built like cudgels and enforced through all stick and no carrot.
