Steady paycheck from a reputable company. Good health benefits. Vacation time. Sick time. Amiable work environment.
Cons
Advancement opportunities are limited and it seems like the person best liked is given the job. I'm saying this from what I've seen, not from a "chip on my shoulder." I've seen people with more experience be passed up for promotions by people who were closer friends with the hiring manager. Raises are few and far between. Sales pressure is high even though incentive is limited for sales. Acknowledgement of achievements isn't as high as it should be. Basically tellers don't get paid enough at Us Bank. If you are interested in being a teller look at a different bank. The job itself isn't bad, just the pay.
