Pros

There are no pros, please avoid their call centers for your own sanity.

Cons

Everyone that worked in the call center moved to work from home as soon as lockdown was started, and because all branch locations were closed, the volume of calls was outrageous. Instead of offering support or encouragement, we were chastised and told we weren't working fast enough. Over time when things calmed down, I got forgotten about. They fired my manager and I didn't find out until a month later because no one ever interacted with me except to chastise me for taking too long in a call. I literally had no one as my manager so if I ever needed to call in sick, I literally couldn't. It was like that for at least 6 months before I left. Every single second (not an exaggeration) is accounted for and you will be inundated with messages from managers asking why you're not taking calls if you even go to the bathroom for more than 5 minutes, but if you need help from anyone they all ignore you. Or they tell you to look up the answer which isn't helpful. They don't care if someone is hurling the most vile insults at you on the phone, you're forced to sit there until the customer is done because you're not allowed to hang up and the bad customers know that and abuse it. Management will try to tell you that it's your fault they're so hostile.

Pros

The pay is market average, and the benefits are quite good. I love my peers. The vast majority of them are kind and talented people. I truly enjoyed my first several years with the company. Well past the honeymoon period for a new employer. And at the time, I recommended this place to anyone I knew looking for a job.

Cons

Management is a mess from the bottom up. The culture of the company has drastically changed over the last several years because of frequent retirements, layoffs, and reorganizations. Employees I know from across describe the same experience: the company has gone from outstanding culture to one that feels openly hostile to its employees. Management decisions are built like cudgels and enforced through all stick and no carrot.
