Pros

Remote work available, tuition coverage

Cons

Micromanaging, no work life balance, benefits for mental health are no longer available, overworked, understaffed for certain shifts, poor leadership, no room for growth in the customer service field. pay does not match the job responsibilities. Certain departments were merged and doubled the jobs duties, but there was no pay or any sort of bonus for this. The company does not have any idea how to boost the morale of their employees especially the remote workers, but will breathe down our backs if we do not meet metrics and won't celebrate our achievements. Occasionally we will get an e-card, not to be confused with a gift card. We are basically told to do our job and be grateful that we are even getting paid. Nothing else is offered in this company. Just a lot of videos of talks that don't pertain to anyone except executives. I use to think highly of this company and now I'm actively searching for a company that truly appreciates their employees and treat them as though they add value to the company. That's isn't US Bank at all.

Pros

The pay is market average, and the benefits are quite good. I love my peers. The vast majority of them are kind and talented people. I truly enjoyed my first several years with the company. Well past the honeymoon period for a new employer. And at the time, I recommended this place to anyone I knew looking for a job.

Cons

Management is a mess from the bottom up. The culture of the company has drastically changed over the last several years because of frequent retirements, layoffs, and reorganizations. Employees I know from across describe the same experience: the company has gone from outstanding culture to one that feels openly hostile to its employees. Management decisions are built like cudgels and enforced through all stick and no carrot.
