Pros

Important to do things for your country, your family, friends and fellow citizens. Sense of having accomplished something to make this a better country. Additionally, in times of emergency, like after 9/11 or when a natural disaster strikes, i.e,. Hurricane Katrina or Gustav, the CBP Community pitches in to make sure all its employees are safe, stable and able to continue in their daily lives. There are great career opportunities, the government compensation package is the best in the world, everyone respects each other and there is no better place to feel like one has accomplished a good days work.

Cons

No downsides at all to working here.
