Pros
The pay is mediocre to okay. The job itself isn't hard.
Cons
I felt like my soul had been sucked out through my ears. Children locked up in holding cells, young men hoping to escape oppression being treated like vermin in need of extermination, people thousands of miles away from the places they used to call home in search of safety being locked up and fed little frozen burritos a few times a day while they wait to be thrown back into Mexico. Also, the flip side of the job being so easy is that working here inevitably leads to intellectual starvation. Just about zero critical thinking at the GS-12 and below levels of the 2210 position, and GS-13 supervisors generally suffer from having to manage the daily minutiae of teams of people and receive not much more glory than the technicians they're in charge of. GS-14 isn't much better, but they at least get to manage projects. The problem with getting over the GS-13 hump is, managerial positions open up only once in a blue moon, and are given based more on seniority and military service than on actual suitability for the job, so employees with ambitions of becoming even lower management have to wait a long time to ascend even a single rung of the ladder. If you're looking for a supervisor job, expect to be working 25 or more years before you get your first real chance at a promotion, and hope no one else with more experience decides to take the position.
